Newscout / Lead finder

Find newly registered UK companies before anyone else.

The Newscout lead finder lists new companies from Companies House by industry, then adds the owner's name and, where it can match them, a phone number, public email and website.

  • Built for marketing agencies and freelancers who sell to new businesses.
  • 39 industries across the UK, from barbers and cafes to cleaners and trades.
  • Installs on your own Windows PC. Your list stays on it.
  • It does not find every number. Many new companies have no public phone yet, so ask us how it performs for your industry first.

Why newly registered companies make good leads

A company registered last month has not picked an agency yet. You are the first conversation, not the fifth.

No incumbent

There is no existing agency or supplier to replace. You are not asking anyone to switch.

First-time decisions

New owners are choosing a website, a logo and a way to get customers right now.

Easy to time

The registration date tells you exactly how new a business is, so you can reach out while it matters.

What comes with each new company lead

Each company arrives with the details you would otherwise spend an hour finding.

Fields fill in where public information exists, so some companies have gaps.

The company
Registered name and number, date registered, address and industry. The owner and director are named from Companies House.
How to reach them
A phone number where we have matched one, a public email from their own website, their website, and a ready-made WhatsApp link.
Signals
A check for ads in the public ad libraries, a quick website health check, and how active the company has been at Companies House.
Your workflow
Move each lead from first message to won, with notes and follow-up dates. Export to Excel, CSV or Google Sheets.

How fast the lead finder runs

Measured on our own laptop with two workers, not estimated.

About 550 phone numbers an hour

On a fresh list, two workers matched 154 phone numbers from public listings in under 17 minutes, across barbers, salons, cafes, takeaways and restaurants. They are matched, not guaranteed.

About 24,000 companies checked an hour

The same run checked 6,000 new companies and kept 195 as leads, about 3 in every 100.

The rate falls as your list fills, because the software never saves the same company twice. Industries with public listings, like barbers and salons, do best. New marketing companies usually have no public phone number yet.

Lead finder questions

How do I find newly registered companies in the UK?

Every new UK company is listed on the public Companies House register. You can search it by hand, or use a lead finder like Newscout, which pulls the new registrations for your chosen industries and adds the owner's name and, where it can match them, a phone number, public email and website.

How many phone numbers will I get?

It depends on the industry. Barbers, salons, cafes, takeaways and restaurants do best because they often have public listings: in one run, two workers matched 154 phone numbers in under 17 minutes. New marketing companies rarely have a public number yet. In one test on 150 of them we found a verified website for 19 and a strictly verified phone number for 1. Ask us about your industry before you buy.

Where does the data come from?

Company details come from the public Companies House register. Phone numbers and websites come from public listings and the company's own website, and we only keep a number when the page clearly belongs to that company.

Can I cold call and message these companies?

You are responsible for how you contact people. UK rules apply to calls, texts and emails, including checking the TPS list and giving people a way to opt out. We explain the basics when we hand over. This is not legal advice.

Can I export my leads?

Yes. You can export to Excel, CSV or Google Sheets.

Does it run on a Mac?

Not yet. The installer is for Windows.

Who sees my lead list?

Only you. The software runs on your own computer and keeps your list there.
